What is a Vortex Brewer?

The Vortex Brewer makes living compost tea solutions. It is simple, yet extraordinarily profound. Crafted with food grade components, it can be used to create compost tea, as a mixing machine for hydroponic & gardening nutrient solutions, or even for re-vitalizing drinking water.

Most people are familiar with compost. Compost is created by living organisms, such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, etc. that work to decompose organic matter into a more stable and plant usable form called humus. After all, the leaves in a forest don't simply melt, they are digested. When we compost, we are harnessing a natural process for human benefit and because humans are involved, there is MUCH room for error. It's easy to throw the word "compost" around, but there are vast differences depending on the quality of the organic matter inputs and the diversity and environment created for the microbes doing the work.

We recommend using Genesis Compound with the Vortex Brewer. It is hand crafted humus that is potentized within the earth for up to a year in whiskey barrels using biodynamic techniques. When Genesis Compound is put into the Vortex Brewer and exposed to the enormous amounts of dissolved oxygen being sucked into and supersaturating the solution by way of the vortex, the dormant life in the compost is awakened. When these organisms are provided a food source and a catalyst, such as TONIC, they go to work processing and replicating at almost unimaginable rates. Under laboratory conditions a single bacteria can spawn 5 billion more bacteria in 12 hours if given enough food. According to Teaming with Microbes, if all bacteria reproduced at this rate all the time, it would take only a month or so to double the mass of our planet. (43) It has even been speculated that in four days of unlimited growth, bacteria could outnumber all of the protons and even the quarks estimated by physicists in the entire universe. (Secrets of the Soil, 38)

Because of this profound ability of microorganisms it is easy when marketing compost tea products to site huge numbers in order to project huge potentials, but the reality is much more textured than a biological headcount, in the same way that the largeness of the NPK (20-20-20) sited on a synthetic fertilizer does not necessarily represent the potential for plant nutrition. The only way to definitively determine diversity is DNA testing and very few firms actually undertake this analysis. Rather, they rely on visual counting and subjective identification.

What is more important when creating compost tea's is the diversity of the organisms involved, the tools available to those organisms, and the environment available for those organisms to do their work. Compost tea's created from worm castings or manure may be better than nothing, but they are not biologically balanced. Worm castings are bacterially dominant and manure is not yet decomposed. By starting with a premium balanced compost such as Genesis Compound, you are ensured ALL of nature's biological organisms being present.

When making compost tea most people think only about the living organisms and a food source, but it turns out there is another piece of the puzzle. The microbes need organic matter, such as kelp, molasses, guano, etc. to replicate, but they use mineral elements to carry out their work. Microbes don't "chew" on the organic matter, they create myriad chemicals in the form of enzymes, amino acids, etc. that work to chemically decompose their food turning it into a plant usable form. Microbes actualyl use more minerla elements than plants do. If ALL earth-bound elements are not available to the microbes in a compost tea it's like hiring someone to build your house and onhly giving them half teh tools. If they can do it all it will take them a heck of a long time! This is why TONIC is so important, it supplies over 90 mineral elements, not only to the plant, but to the microbes undertaking decomposition.

Nature works in chaos and spirals, not straight lines and stagnant solutions. By allowing your living solution to take a vortexial path, water is allowed to operate as it does in the ocean or a living stream. Consider why a river meanders in nature or a wave breaks as a barrel? This new vitality in water encourages life on levels not available from stagnant brewers.
